BLAKEBURN SAVED

The threat to Blakeburn has passed. Thanks to the efforts of Branda Gaul (Lower Similkameen Band), Nick Mills (Princeton Museum), Lori Thomas (Princeton Chamber of Commerce) and many other officials, steps have been put in place to prevent future logging and other intrusions upon the ghost town of Blakeburn.With the use of the authors Final Edition Blakeburn Grand Map and its GPS grid, the ghost town has been marked with new boundary flags. The map is also been made available as a bench mark for the issuing of any future work permits in the area. Thankyou, to all who who pushed so hard and quickly to get this done.
